Abstract

Based on the number of inbound tourists in Shaanxi Province from 2009 to 2019, this paper selects 18 tourist markets as samples, and analyzes the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of inbound tourist markets in Shaanxi Province from the perspectives of time and space by using the research methods of market share and interannual change index. The results show that the number of inbound tourists in Shaanxi Province is increasing year by year. The interannual change index of inbound tourists decreases year by year, and the inbound tourism market tends to be stable gradually; The spatial structure of inbound tourist market in Shaanxi province presents an "M" shape, which tends to be stable gradually. In the tourist market of Shaanxi Province from 2009 to 2018, except for Hong Kong, Macao and Russia, Japan and Indonesia changed from a strong pro-landscape market to a weak pro-landscape market; Thailand and Malaysia have changed from a weak pro-scenic market to a strong pro-scenic market, and the pro-scenic degree of other tourist markets has not increased or decreased much. Finally, according to the current situation of inbound tourist market in Shaanxi Province, this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures to improve it.
