Abstract

Planar resonator structures play a vital role in wireless communication systems. The characteristics of resonators depend upon its structure and its feeding mechanism. Each variation in the geometric structure and the feeding mechanism leads to the change in the characteristics of the entire system. In this paper, there is a detailed analysis of planar square open loop resonator (OLR) with different structured electromagnetically coupled feeding techniques. The design analyses of each resonator structures are done at 2.45GHz. Depending on the response needed and compactness either one of the five energizing techniques will be used.
