Abstract

Dynamic mechanical analyses (DMA) were carried out by using a Du Pont DMA 982 unit on phenol-formaldehyde (PF) resol resins at 110-225°C with a rapid initial heating schedule. The curing schedule adopted for simulating the pressing parameters used in the manufacture of wood composite boards afforded the observation of the rigidity increase and loss modulus changes within the short time span
