Abstract

The indoor and outdoor pollutant concentrations of a high-rise building in Xi’an was tested and analyzed during the initial heating period in this paper. Also the relationship between indoor and outdoor pollutant concentration, building height and outdoor meteorological parameters in different periods was an-alyzed at the same time. Compare and analyze the ratio of indoor and outdoor particle concentration (I/O value) in different time periods. The results showed that during the test period, the concentration of partic-ulate matter reached the highest value at noon and the lowest value after dusk. The I/O value tends to de-crease with the increase of the building height, but at some moments there is a situation where the I/O value is greater than 1. The research results of this paper can provide a theoretical basis for indoor particulate control and architectural design of high-rise buildings.
