Study on the Application of Big Data Analysis in Monitoring Internet Rumors

Abstract

The network is not only a virtual society but also a place of public opinion. Based on the current prevalence of internet rumors, the paper explores the characteristics of its dissemination and other features such as strong abruptness and wide circulation. Combined with the advantages of big data in the analysis and processing of massive social network information, the monitoring of internet rumors based on big data technology and its prevention design are proposed in this paper. Taking the analysis of Sina Weibo data as an example, a distributed big data vertical search engine based on Nutch/Hadoop cloud platform is built to discover the public opinion from the Internet first time using directional collection and the entire network search method. And the network rumors are searched vertically. In order to strengthen the crackdown on internet rumors, it provides a new way to promote the public opinion of Internet and maintain social stability and harmony.
