Abstract

Small hydropower groups connected to the distribution network and operated in reverse power state will cause voltage over-limit in the key nodes and some nodes of grid. Through the analysis of the power system voltage regulation principle, four voltage regulation measures such as adjusting the generator voltage, changing the transformer ratio, performing reactive power compensation, and optimizing the conductor are obtained. Taking a regional distribution network as an example, based on the PSASP (Power System Analysis Software Package) simulation software, a distribution network model with small hydropower groups was established, focusing on the distribution line voltage of the distribution network in the reverse power state during the summer flood season. The four voltage regulation measures were simulated under voltage over-limit, which effects of suppression methods were analyzed and compared. It has certain reference significance and engineering practical value for the voltage adjustment of hydropower access distribution network in the future.
