Abstract

Tartary buckwheat, as a unique food crop in China, has a long planting history and rich nutrition. It is called “God's food for people” by the United Nations. However, tartary buckwheat seeds are light in weight, small in size and irregular in geometric shape. As it has strict requirement for sowing depth, it is difficult to realize mechanized sowing and precise sowing. Therefore, it is necessary to study the precise sowing technology of tartary buckwheat. Practices have shown that the rotation speed of the seed metering device is one of the important factors that affect the sowing effect. In this paper, taking the seed metering device, a key part of tartary buckwheat sowing, as the research object, 3D models of two kinds of seed metering device slot wheel holes with different sizes are established respectively, and the seeding process of the seed metering device at different rotation speeds is dynamically simulated. The simulation experiment shows that: the seeding effect is ideal when the rotating speed is 30rpm.
