Abstract

In this latest paper, spherical silver powders with different sizes were prepared by a liquid phase chemical reduction method, the spherical silver powders were processed by globe mill to prepare flake silver powders. Then the properties of back silver pastes made of spherical silver powders and flake silver powders were studied when these back silver pastes were printed and further formed back electrodes on solar cells, respectively. Experiment results showed that the back silver pastes and solar cells prepared by flake silver powders with appropriate size own compact and smooth sintered membrane, best pull-out force as well as the photoelectric conversion efficiency on condition of low solid contents (53%). The maximum pull-out force of formed back silver electrode and the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the solar cells has reached 8 N and 18.15 %, respectively.
