Abstract
In the experiment, solid concentration (SS) was 0.1864g/L, turbidity was 12055.5NTU, pH was 5.4, Zeta potential was -24.68V and solid of -200 mesh accounted for 51.83%. Cationic, anionic and nonionic polyacrylamide (PAM) were used in preliminary research on coal slime water settlement. It showed that the cationic PAM was the most favorable to the coal slurry settlement. Then cationic PAM, coagulant, mixture of coagulant and PAM were used in the experiment. The test results showed that mixture of calcium hydroxide and cationic PAM was most conducive to the settlement of coal slurry in the plant and settlement time was 67.86s, SS was 0.0014g/L and turbidity was 11.80NTU.
