Abstract
With the raw materail of natural plant powder F691, we synthetized a natural and efficient cationic flocculant which was called SUSA-a.The study shows that when the mass ratio of woodpoeder and NaOH is 2∶1, the mass ratio of woodpoeder and etherifying angent is 1.5∶1,the reaction temperature is 40°C,the reaction time is three hours and a half we can synthetize SUSA-a. The flocculant demonstrate excellent flocculation properties in dealing with coal washing wast water. when we change the pH value from 6 to 8, the inputs dosages of flocculant is 10mg/L and the poly-aluminum is 5mg/L, the removal rates of turbidity and COD Cr and suspended solids in the coal washing wast water is 96.8%,69.3% and 97.9 %.
