Abstract

In this paper, firstly, a new type cam-linkage combined mechanism was briefly introduced. Secondly,the requirements of major components of cam-linkage reducer were discussed. And then, 3D parametrized design and virtual assembly for cam and other parts was realized by using Pro/E, and the interference of the whole reducer was detected, optimized design of componets was implemented. In the end, kniematic simulation of reducer model was analyzed. It is not only helpful to improve the efficiency of production design, shorten the design cycle and fulfill optimized and series design, but also useful to provide accurate models for FEM analysis.
