Abstract

At present, general-purpose milling machine are used for practical traninings in the field of education. In practice, materials are attached to the vise for processing. However, because vise-tightening is a sensory task, it is difficult to evaluate the appropriate tightening force. Therefore, in this research, we examined by experimental measurement of the tightening force applied by a skilled worker and determining the safe tightening force. As a result, we obtained information on the appropriate tightening force. A measuring instrument capable of visualizing the tightening force was also manufactured, and its effectiveness was examined.
