Abstract
With the development of China’s offshore wind power, the peak shaving and operation of the power system in the eastern region, which are in a high proportion of power receiving and huge peak shaving demand for local power supply, face greater challenges. In the paper, on the basis of the quantitative analysis of the regulation characteristics of source-grid-load, a source-grid-load coordinated operation strategy that takes into account environmental costs is proposed. It can improve the system’s absorptive capacity and at the same time, it can cut the total operating cost of the system and improve the utilization of offshore wind power. In this way, the use of traditional fossil energy and its impact on the environment can be reduced. Taking the grid, as is scheduled in 2030, of a regional power grid as an example, the production and operation simulation and comparative analysis were carried out on the statistics before and after the coordinated operation of source-grid-load. The results verified the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.
