Abstract

.The fatigue bending life of wire rope is an important parameter of its service performance. In this study, three kinds of 6X19W+FC wire ropes with different diameters were selected, and each wire rope was equipped with pulleys of different diameters. The fatigue bending lives of the three wire ropes under different axial tensile loads were tested. On this basis, based on Feyrer’s bending fatigue estimation theory of steel wire rope, a binary quadratic regression function for predicting steel wire rope bending fatigue life is obtained by using multiple linear regression method, and the validity of the prediction equation is verified by comparing the theoretical predicted value with the experimental results.
