Abstract

Photoelectric volume pulse wave is a kind of pulse wave signal of human body detected by photoelectric means, and its acquisition method is simple. Accurate photoelectric volume pulse wave can be detected by photoelectric blood oxygen probe commonly used in family, which contains abundant physiological information, so it is of great significance to obtain respiratory frequency from photoelectric volume pulse wave. This paper designs a portable ECG and respiratory monitoring system based on Android smart phone. The system collects ECG and respiratory signals through ECG electrodes, and transmits the collected signals to Android smart phone via Bluetooth for real-time analysis, display and alarm. The collected PPG signals are filtered and de-noised by MATLAB, and the effects of illumination intensity, motion artifacts and low perfusion on PPG signals are analyzed. The system has the advantages of convenient wearing, low power consumption and high accuracy of breath detection, and can be applied to respiratory monitoring in homes and other places to meet people's daily health monitoring needs.
