Abstract

Modified fly ash was prepared by being mixed with silane coupling agent under different conditions. And modified fly ash filled Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) wires were prepared. Then impact and tensile specimens were three dimensional (3D) printed from modified fly ash filled ABS wires. Results show that, modification process parameters do affect properties of modified fly ash filled ABS. And there seems to be a contradiction between tensile strength and impact strength. Fly ash should be modified at 60°Cof temperature, 30min of stirring time and 160r/min of stirring speed. And at this process condition, modified fly ash filled ABS 3D printing prototype exhibits a better property.
