Abstract

With the increasing scale of power system, the complex and ever-changing structure and the flexible operation modes, dynamic instability has become one of the main problems threatening the security and stability of power grid and restricting the transmission capacity of key transmission lines. In this paper, the influence of power grid structure, operation mode and parameters of generator excitation control system on the dynamic stability of regional interconnected power grid is analyzed theoretically. Then, the conclusions are validated by the case study of Central China power grid. The research in this paper has certain guiding significance for the planning and operation of interconnected power system.
