Abstract

In this paper, the principle of magnetic abrasive machining for inner surface of the small hole is introduced. By the experiment of magnetic abrasive machining on the quenched steel inner surface of the smaller hole, some technical findings have been achieved. It is: the abrasive magnitude and the roughness of the machined part vary with the duration of grinding, magnetic induction strength and machining clearance. According to the testing data, the workable optimum parameters of magnetic abrasive machining for inner surface of the small hole is summarized, which can be used as reference in real practice.
