Abstract
Wind farms are mostly concentrated in complex mountain terrain, and lightning accidents occur frequently. In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the wind farm, based on the gas arc extinguishing technology and taking the collector line as the research object, this paper proposes a multi-fracture active arc extinguishing device for arc extinguishing protection. Firstly, the arc extinguishing principle of the device is analyzed, and then the physical field simulation of the arc extinguishing process is carried out by COMSOL Multiphysics simulation software. The actual operation results show that the device can effectively extinguish the arc generated on the insulator of the collector line.
