Abstract
Highway corridor zones are distributed with a large span and a wide range in a narrow and long strip shape. As landscape resources along the road are abundant in variety and quantity, the concept of landscape section division is proposed to optimize the highway landscape design. Based on analysis and classification of landscape resources along the road, highway corridor zone is divided into several sections by analysis method and node control method, and theme of landscape section is respectively designed, and specific landscape design is guided by landscape theme. Taking the landscape design project of Jungar-Xinghe Freeway as an example, the process and method for landscape section division are introduced in details as below.
