Abstract

This article considered the “Kugi-tsumi” shown in “Suijinroku Yoroku”. The following points have been clarified. In this book, there is a description of “Kugi-tsumi”, which indicates the number of nails used and the weight per nail. For “Keyaki-mono”, “Hinoki Tsuga Momi nado” and “Atsurae kasugai” (with headnote), the coefficient is set for the rectangular parallelepiped obtained from “length” and “thick”, and the weight per nail can be easily calculated is shown. The coefficient is 0.75 for nails and 1 for cramp.
