Abstract
This paper gives a survey of literature associated with the one of the biometric popularity structures - iris reputation device. Biometric authentication has come to be one of the critical safety technologies because of the outstanding houses of biometrics compared to other authentication techniques. In view that maximum of the phenotypes of people are unique, physiological tendencies like fingerprints, iris shade, face styles and geometries considered as safety passwords. Among those, iris receives the maximum attention in authentication due to its far reliability. Even the iris textures so that it will be used in iris recognition aren't similar in the left and proper eyes of the identical individual making iris popularity extra comfortable than famous face reputation. The purpose of this paper is to explore latest developments in iris recognition structures and algorithms behind them.
