Abstract
We took the surface sediments of the Yellow River as the objects to study the adsorption characteristics of Cu and Pb in coastal sediments. The results indicated that: the smaller the granularity is, the bigger the saturated adsorption capacity is; The adsorption equilibrium time of Cu2+, Pb2+is different, but all can achieve adsorption equilibrium in 1.5h; The adsorption capacity increases gradually along with pH, which increases rapidly for Cu2+, but increaseing slowly for Pb2+. The adsorption capacity of Cu2+assumes a linear relation with initial concentration of absorbent basically; which increases rapidly under lower initial concentration of absorbent for Pb2+, but then becomes lower. The adsorption capacity of Cu2+, Pb2+increases along with the equilibrium concentration, which increases rapidly for Cu2+, but increases rapidly for Pb2+when the equilibrium concentration is relatively lower, then tends to slow down along with the concentration.
