Abstract

Based on the theory of silver iodide particles released by combustion of solid propellant, the aerosol agent that was appropriate for manual interventional glaze of power grid was prepared by pouring process in different prescriptions. The burning rate was studies to obtain the combustion properties of the ingredient, and component analysis of solid combustion products was tested by X-ray photoelectron emission microscopy. Otherwise, scanning electron microscope was implemented to study the particle size and distribution of solid combustion products. The mechanisms of solid combustion products were analysed by the combustion test results. The results showed that the formula of manual interventional glaze aerosols agents are environmentally friendly, and the technology of preparation is easy-going. Otherwise, the combustion process is stable, and the aerosol particles generated by combustion are small and distributed narrow. The prepared aerosols could satisfy the demands of power grid to eliminate the glaze.
