Abstract

In order to reasonably obtain the earthquake alarm threshold value of high-speed train, the vehicle-track coupling model is established based on calculation method of wheel-rail contact relation, the track irregularities are simulated with trigonometric series method and several typical seismic records are selected which are used as the external excitations of the train. A calculation program is developed to solve the vehicle-track coupling vibration equations, the earthquake dynamic responses of vehicle-track coupling system under the excitations of track irregularities and typical seismic records are analyzed. The main indexes which are used to judge whether the running train is safe in the correlative specifications are extracted and compared with calculated results, the corresponding relation between vehicle speed, ground motion intensity and train operational safety is obtained. An analysis method for threshold value of seismic urgent handling system of high-speed railway train is explored and a preliminary suggestion of the earthquake alarm threshold values under different running speeds are presented.
