Abstract

Abstract This paper discusses the dynamic characteristics of the bare frame and the infilled frames with strut, mass of infill and pneumatic interface under given loading and boundary stipulations. Also, intent of critique is to study the elastic behavior and the dynamic characteristics such as stiffness, energy dissipation, of the infilled frame with pneumatic interface. This paper projects an analytical study of a lone bay five storeyed reinforced concrete infilled frame, in the software called ABAQUS. In detail, the critique discusses the lateral stiffness of the four unlike frames and it is shown that no other case dissipates the energy as good as the one with pneumatic interface. The outcomes obtained in this critique can aid the further studies on the elastic medium of this pneumatic interfaced material under the given loading stipulations.
