Abstract

A dynamic distributed message scheduling method suitable for CAN bus networks was proposed in this paper. It could guarantee that all messages of the CAN network were transmitted to destination nodes successfully within given time, and could fairly allocate network bandwidth to message streams. In this method, the identifier of message frames was reconfigured, and its binary value was related to the life-time of messages and the waiting time of messages and so on,the longer the waiting time of message or the shorter life-time was,the higher priority level of message was.The necessary condition of full schedule ability of messages was also analyzed in this paper, and some experimental results verify the necessary condition is correct and the scheduling method was valid.
