Abstract

In this paper, we conduct research on the design of a noise sensor that collects noise from the microphone and converts it to an analog electrical signal, which will be put into a signal generator circuit (Transmitter) to filter noise and amplify it. Then this electrical signal will be fed into the analog to digital signal converter (ADC) circuit, then the digital signal will be fed into the digital signal processing circuit (DSP) to calculate the level of noise in dBA form. Then the developer will integrate the noise sensor into the system, and just read the value of the registers inside the DSP processor to get the noise value through RS485 communication. The noise sensor is designed using STMicroelectronics ARM STM32F407 microcontroller to communicate with Microphone IM69D130 through I 2 S standard, and use the Fast Fourier Transformer algorithm to process DSP block instructions. The obtained test results can be compared with some other noise measuring devices that have verified the success of the proposed solution in this study.
