Abstract

This paper presents a study on the behavior of the inner surface of the gun barrel. The service life of the gun barrel of the cylinder is given by the state of their inner surface to which is necessary to know the phenimena leading to its degradation The study aims knowledge and analysis of phenomena taking place inside the cylinder pipe before and after a number of withdrawals and phenomena occurring dragging bullet pipe. Multiple requests at the same time acting corrosion may damage the pipe gun. The amount of wear by oxidation has been studied using the model parameters Quinn correlate the intensity of the action of various oxidation wear.The results showed that the pipes which have been treated electrochemically with a hard chromium layer exhibits a longer life than the untreated ones.
