Abstract

Urban distribution is an important part of the logistics process. The standardized construction development of urban distribution centers will help to achieve efficient use of urban resources. This paper studies the classification and grading of urban distribution centers. Based on the function, urban distribution centers can be divided into three types: supply-oriented, sales-oriented and comprehensive. For the classification of urban distribution centers, the Delphi Method is used to select the three indicators of floor area, annual throughput and registered capital as the basis for the grading of urban distribution centers. Then, from the perspective of scale economy, the engineering method is used to measure the reasonable scale of urban distribution centers. Finally, the reasonable scale is divided into five grades by using the Equal Difference Method, i.e. urban distribution centers are divided into five grades.
