Abstract

Child prostitution is a major global concern, but it has gotten insufficient attention in India, owing to a general lack of sensitivity to the topic. It's a long-standing problem that robs children of their youth, human rights, and dignity. Child prostitution can take many forms, including child trafficking. The forced migration of children for sexual purposes has been the topic of trafficking studies. Not only should there be stringent regulations against child prostitution, but also against related issues such as child trafficking and child pornography. Instead of punishing the victim, the law should focus on the trafficker. The major goal of this article is to evaluate the scope of child prostitution, as well as the causes and risks that child prostitutes confront. Child prostitutes must be rescued from on-the-job violence, and a rehabilitation program for those who want to stop prostitution must be established, in addition to efforts to reduce admission into prostitution.
