Abstract

This article selects automatic and artificial parallel observation precipitation weather phenomenon data and precipitation data minutes from Wenjiang, Yaan and Ganzi, etc. 10 Real-time operational observatories from January 2018 to October 2018. Use artificial observation of precipitation phenomenon as the reference value, and contrast and analyze accuracy indexes which are according to the different precipitation phenomenon process times and number of minutes of rainfall occurs from manual and automatic precipitation phenomenon of capture rate, non-response rates, empty quote rate, rate of misstatement, self-agreement and start-stop time absolute error. Study the accuracy difference of the automatic and manual observation precipitation phenomenon. The results show that:(1) The capture rate of automatic observation precipitation weather phenomenon at night is significantly higher than that in the daytime. The capture rate of precipitation phenomenon rain is higher than that of snow and sleet. The capture rate of heavy precipitation is higher than that of weak precipitation. (2) The false alarm rate and missing alarm rate of solid precipitation are higher than that of liquid precipitation and mixed precipitation. The empty report rate of automatic observation precipitation rain and drizzle is 1.99%,2.18% when no precipitation occurs. For liquid precipitation, the smaller the precipitation particles, the higher the null rate. Precipitation the anastomosis rate of rain is better than that of snow and sleet. The coincidence rate of rain is better than that of snow and sleet
