Abstract

The large-scale application of power equipment operation status monitoring equipment reduces the daily maintenance and management of power system, and provides strong support for ensuring the safety and reliability of equipment operation. However, the abnormal work of the monitoring equipment itself leads to the failure of the function, which may bring disadvantage to the normal operation and maintenance of the power system, and even induce quality accidents. Therefore, how to ensure the stability and reliability of such equipment and devices has become a research topic of concern to power companies. This paper analyses the high-risk points and weak links leading to failure, and analyses the underlying causes of these risk points and weak links, and puts forward improvement and preventive measures in the design and production stage, so as to promote the stability and reliability of similar equipment and instruments. This project takes a MOA resistive current tester used to monitor the resistive current of metal oxide arrester as the research object, analyses the common test error faults of the detection system, analyses the types of test error, failure mechanism and corresponding preventive and control measures, so as to promote the stability and reliability of similar equipment and instruments. After research, the test error mainly includes resistance current test error (full current, fundamental wave, harmonic component) and voltage test error (full voltage range, harmonic component). In view of the error sources and inducing factors of the instrument, and in order to formulate the corresponding preventive measures, the design, material selection, production and assembly technology, inspection and acceptance of the instrument are analyzed in detail. The shortcomings and weaknesses of each link are identified, and the corresponding solutions are put forward.
