Abstract

In order to better coordinate and control the energy transmission between microgrids, a novel AC-DC hybrid microgrid energy router based on power imbalance theory is proposed. The proposed energy router consists of cascaded H-bridge and dual active bridge(DAB). In this paper, the vector relations of cascaded H-bridge in different operational mode is analyzed. The power restriction in constant voltage mode and the range of stabilized system voltage in constant power flow mode on cascaded H-bridge is deduced; Furthermore, the voltage regulation method and control strategy of the energy router are proposed based on the power unbalance theory. Finally, the simulations and the prototype validate the effectiveness of the proposed power unbalance theory and the practicability of the hybrid microgrid energy router.
