Abstract

The core to solve static correction in complex areas is to build the high precision near-surface velocity model which accords with the actual geological conditions. There are two aspects of deficiencies when the convention tomographic inversion static correction method is used. On the one hand, the precision of shallow information from tomographic inversion is not high enough, on the other hand, it is difficult to determine the bottom of near-surface. Therefore, this paper presents a new tomographic inversion static correction method based on constraints with water table marker bed, for one thing, it can use micro log, small refraction and other surface information to build accurate and reliable near surface velocity models, for another, it uses the underground marker bed information to define reliable velocity bottom interfaces, which enable it to overcome the defects of poor continuity of surface multi-information space and limited probing depth, to get high accuracy velocity model, and hence solve static correction problems completely.
