Abstract

An attempt to use a simple model of heat transfer in heat protection materials with organic resin to describe similar processes in metal hydrides with one-sided heating has been made. The method developed by the authors for the investigation of thermophysical properties of heat protection materials has been used. As an example in this paper, the results of the analyses of the influence of some factors on the thermal conductivity of silica epoxy material are presented.
