Abstract

Heat-resistant titanium alloy VT41 of adjusted composition is studied after holding for 100, 300 and 500 h at 600°C. The minimum mechanical property level and impact strength is established for specimens cut from bar of a blade billet with different globular-lamellar microstructure parameters after prolonged heating. The phase composition is determined for alloy in different conditions by x-ray structural phase analysis, and the fine structure is studied in foils. A comparative analysis of alloy VT41 with overseas analogs is provided.
