Study of the Sporadic Es Layers Occurrence Probability Based on the Ionospheric Oblique Sounding Network Data in the Russian Arctic Region

Abstract

Study of the sporadic Es layers occurrence probability based on the ionospheric oblique sounding data was carried out. The methodology of reflections from the regular E and sporadic Es layers separation based on the oblique sounding data was developed. The probability of sporadic Es layers occurrence on high-latitude radio paths under different geomagnetic perturbation conditions was assessed.
