Abstract

Abstract We study the spectral resolution of the time-delayed laser-induced double gratings, which has been employed to measure the frequency difference between two light pulses. We established the condition for the occurrence of the four-wave mixing signal modulation, which was verified experimentally through the study of beating between a tunable narrow-band laser source and a broad-band light.
