Abstract

The kinetics of the reactions I- + IrCl62- and Fe(CN)64- + S2O82- have been studied in anionic micelles of sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) at 298.2 K. The results obtained in this work, as well as those obtained in sodium bis-2-ethylhexyl sulfosuccinate (AOT)/decane/water microemulsions and aqueous sodium nitrate solutions, can be explained by using as a starting point the Bronsted equation.
