Abstract

At this stage of the construction industry part work, engaged in the production and implementation of building materials, in order to meet the needs of the road industry during the repair, construction and highways roadbed operation, it is necessary to reduce the cost of building materials, while it is desirable to improve the technical and operational qualities of the materials being developed, as well as reduce the logistics and time costs. These criteria are met by waste or secondary products of metallurgy (both ferrous and non-ferrous (combustion products)) - slags. Their implementation takes place at all stages of the road part construction, both asphalt concrete, structural road concrete, and the construction of mineral fillers, and in some cases it can even play the role of thermal cushions. Therefore, consideration of the using heavy industry waste issue, as well as the selection of the most optimal secondary production materials to improve the technical strength and performance of the road surface is relevant. A sufficient number of enterprises in Ukraine produce phosphate slag, which is used mainly as backfill. At the same time, its use in road construction has not been fully studied. The study presented in the article made it possible to more widely consider the use of phosphorus slag as an aggregate for asphalt concrete, as well as to identify the negative and positive results of the resulting product.
