Abstract
Based on the heat released rate, oxygen-enriched combustion was studied on the gasoline engine. Combustion model and emission model were put forward, to study the power performance and emission performance of gasoline engine, which would be affected by the oxygen concentration in the air entered into the engine. The model were used to analyze the power and emission of oxygen-enriched combustion gasoline engine. Experimental investigation was carried out to varidate the theoretical analysis. Results show that as the oxygen concentration in the intake air is increased, the output torque of engine can be enhanced, and the emissions of CO and HC are decreased, but NO is increased.
