Abstract

Sanitary significant types of helminths of domestic carnivores have a complex morphobiochemical structure that does not allow most chemical compounds to penetrate into the egg. The complete absence of disinfection proper-ties was established with respect to eggs of Toxocara canis and Taenia spp. preparations belonging to the group of oxidants (hydrogen peroxide and potassium permanganate 1–30 %), alkalis (sodium hydroxide 1–3 %). The absence of ovocidal properties in relation to toxocar eggs is also characterized by sodium hypochlorite obtained by the electro-chemical method, with an active chlorine concentration of less than 7 mg/l. A decrease in the humidity of the environ-ment due to sanitary products on a mineral basis to 40.0 % led to the cessation of the development of toxocara eggs and their 100% death within 7 days. With soil moisture below 8.0 %, after 48 hours, the development of irreversible changes in the morphological structure of 100 % of the eggs was noted.
