Abstract
The levels of interleukins-8 and -17 in autoimmune thyroiditis were studied. Probably elevated concentrations of test cytokines were combined with elevated levels of specific autoantibodies to thyroglobulin and thyroperoxidase in patients
with a confirmed diagnosis of the disease. Positive correlative is established relationship between interleukins-8 and -17. Analysis of the obtained data confirms the direct participation and pathogenetic significance of the studied cytokines in the development
 and disease progression
