STUDY OF THE IMPACT OF CULTURAL AND LITERARY ACTIVITIES ON PERSONALITY IN ADOLESCENT STUDENTS

Abstract

"What is dept in the syllabus, the world outside is unknown and the one who is unknown is interesting". It must have been the result of the thoughts of a great man with such high level of thoughts and vision that over a period of time the attention of academicians, dignitaries and general public was attracted towards the textual cultural and literary activities. He cannot develop his entire personality by reading the number of books in the boundary wall of the school. The great scientist Dr. Haumi Jahangir Bhabha used to do painting, while Einstein used to play the violin, history is adorned with many such examples. Individuals, teachers, socialists and educationists associated with different professions will be able to benefit in many ways by getting inspiration from the findings obtained from the present research work and getting information about the benefits of cultural and literary activities. Educational implications are found by this research work.The findings of this research work will give direction to the principal that they should explain the importance of cultural and literary activities to the children in his school and place in the school time table for cultural and literary activities in the school every day. Teacher will be able to take advantage of themselves by getting information about the benefits of cultural and literary activities and will be able to motivate the students towards cultural and literary activities. Parents will be able to motivate themselves and their children towards cultural and literary activities.
