Abstract

A set of spectrometers that allow simultaneous measurements of the spectra of pulsed X-ray and electron emission from a micropinch discharge in a wide energy range (1.5–500 keV) is described. The experimental results of the study of electron and X-ray spectra of micropinch discharge plasma are discussed. The mechanism for the formation of hard X-rays is caused by acceleration processes in micropinch discharge plasma.
