Abstract
The oxide phase structure of UO2-CeO2 mixed oxide as simulate for UO2-PuO2 can be influenced by controlling the O/M-ratio during sintering. The use of hyperstoichiometric conditions (O/M > 2) enhances the formation of a solid solution even at low sintering temperatures and in short times.
