Abstract

The successful application of the very low frequency (VLF) method to detecting a mineralized fault is demonstrated. The fault location agrees well with that deduced from IP measurements and geochemical sampling. The advantage of the VLF method in the present context is that it requires only one operator and is, therefore, considerably cheaper than the IP method.
