Abstract
In this study, reduced graphene oxide (RGO) material was electrochemically deposited on an aluminum copper (AlCu) substrate from graphene oxide (GO) dispersion via a cyclic voltammetry method. The electrochemical deposition process of RGO was carried out at 34°C, 44°C, 54°C and 74°C. The presence of reduced graphene oxide on AlCu substrate was confirmed by the existence of the characteristic Raman peaks corresponding to graphene in the Raman spectra. FESEM images showed that the surface morphology of the RGO flakes became denser as the temperature of the electrodeposition process is increased. ERGO on AlCu sample was tested at humidity ranges of 40% to 90% RH. Results showed that the ERGO sample deposited at lower temperature has a better humidity sensing performance.
