Abstract

A Flexible Manufacturing System is made up of several numerical control processing equipments, material storage system and computer control system. It is a fully automated machinery manufacturing system. The Flexible Manufacturing System has the benefits of the flexible operation and great adaptability in production, so many advanced manufacturing enterprises treated it as the preferred mode of production. A logistics subsystem is one of the most important parts in the Flexible Manufacturing System. It plays the role of controlling the storage and transportation process of the work piece, while the work piece should be in a reliable state in computer processing equipments during the process and is the necessary condition for ensuring the normal storage and transportation of materials. It mainly depends on the computer numerical control processing equipments whether in the normal working condition or not. This article is based on the computer numerical control manufacturing equipments. According to the analysis of dynamic characteristic of the computer numerically controlling machines, the author investigates the way of how to choose the best cutting parameter in case of the machine vibration which plays the negative impact on the precision processing of the workpiece in order to ensure the Flexible Manufacturing System in the normal operate condition. All of this will provide a favorable security for the logistics transportation subsystem.
